There are odd vertical band artifacts in my spin. What’s up with that?
You are probably using fluorescent lights which are interfering with the camera in your device. Use incandescent bulbs instead. Here is an example spin that shows this type of interference: http://arq.io/3suhxbv9bbgdd
I captured my spin when my device was in portrait/landscape orientation but the app through it was still in landscape/portrait orientation and the spin came out sideways. How do I rotate the spin to correct this?
This is currently only possible in our Android app. Enter the crop mode and select the “Rotate” button. Each time that button is pressed the spin is rotated 90 degrees counter-clockwise. To avoid this issue in the iOS app, be sure the orientation of the device is not locked and make sure the app changes its layout when you move from a portrait orientation to landscape or vice versa.
